About Me
I am a psychotherapist, therapeutic arts counsellor and couples therapist.
My earlier work in arts and fashion continues to inform my therapeutic practice, shaping how I think about expression, embodiment, and the many ways meaning can be communicated beyond words.
My upbringing in Eastern Europe has also shaped both who I am and how I work. It has given me a lived understanding of how culture, identity, migration, and belonging influence how we see ourselves and relate to others. I am particularly aware of how experiences of difference, displacement, or adapting to new cultural environments can quietly shape our sense of identity and emotional wellbeing.
This has deepened my appreciation for diversity and for the many ways people make sense of their lives within different cultural contexts. In my work, I hold in mind how important it is to feel seen, understood, and accepted as you are, including the parts of your story shaped by culture, family history, and belonging.
I work with individuals and couples with curiosity about how we relate—to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us. I am particularly interested in what happens between us: how we reach for connection, how we protect ourselves, and how patterns of relating form over time. Together, we explore these patterns with openness and care, gently making sense of how your experiences and relationships have shaped the way you relate and are related to.
